Our Story

Elemente formally launched in 2019, but our story began much earlier.

Growing up, some of our fondest memories were of tagging along with our mum through the tiny fabric stores tucked away in the charming lanes of Bandra. We’d watch her carefully select fabrics before returning home to sketch her ideas and bring them to life with her masterji. There was something magical about witnessing a vision transform into a finished garment. The joy it brought her was infectious, and before long, we found ourselves equally captivated by the world of design and creation.

That fascination only grew with time.

Once we were a little older, post-dinner Fridays (a family ritual we thoroughly miss) meant trips to our local book stall on Turner Road in Bandra, where we’d pick up stacks of glossies- Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and devour them cover to cover. The clothes, the editorials, the craftsmanship; this world always felt like home.

As the years went by, our love for fashion only deepened. We realised that beyond admiring beautiful design, we wanted to build something of our own. Something rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy that fashion had brought into our lives for as long as we could remember.

So in 2019, combining our backgrounds in Business and Fashion, and driven by a shared dream to create a business around something we truly loved, we co-founded Elemente.

Today, every collection we create is a reflection of that journey - a celebration of thoughtful design, timeless style, and clothing that becomes a part of the many moments that make up a woman’s life.
